Poseidon... Lord of the Seven Seas

For a Long time... I was trying to design a Mermaid/Merman like character... But I didn't wanted it to be like the conventional ones we look in the films or TV... I wanted it to be monstrous... So I searched all over the Internet for references... and I finally found them...
1. The ancient fish... Dunkleosteus...
2. The extinct sea scorpion... Eurypterid...
3. The Triton shells...
4. The Moray eel...
I took some characteristics from these creatures... and combined them into the monster... in the artwork...
